i played in an inter-club doubles tournament this past weekend where one of the tennis clubs was “white only”. i was relieved when the team captain explained “white only” referred to clothing and not race, but that doesn’t mean the club wasn’t still a bit stuffy and snooty to my taste.

i bamboozled myself in to converting to a windows ce device because it provided calendar invitation details that my palm pilot didn’t. after six months of using the device my opinion of it is best summarized by how my wife refers to it: ‘the game’, because the most useful thing it does is play jawbreaker.
