i have judged the everyman photo contest since its inaugural year and i can make you a few guarantees 1) more people than you think take really good pictures 2) more people than you think shoot really bad pictures of their pets and mistake them for good and lastly i would never vote for a picture with a date/time stamp on it.

i didn’t think the israelis did much to advance peace in the middle east by refusing yasir arafat’s burial in jerusalem but after watching the funeral over the weekend, looks like a good decision on their part.
