i will avoid, as much as possible, making purchases from the day after thanksgiving til january second so as to avoid my purchasing being tallied in the ‘holiday retail sales’ column.

its tough enough that our child has to try and make sense of two different spoken languages and now i found out even the animal sounds dramatically different – who knew a latino baby chick says ‘peo peo’ instead of ‘cheep cheep’.

actual question asked during my last ebay auction:
Hi there. I saw your auction for the V37. I saw you have the 2003 upgrade disk. I also have a V37 and was searching for the 2003 upgrade disk because Viewsonic decided not to support them anymore and no longer sells the upgrade disk. I can’t find it anywhere. You wouldn’t be interest in making a copy before you sell it, or something? I would buy one if they still sold it but it’s not available. I would really appreciate it. Thanks, sorry to bother you.
my response:
sorry, viewsonic prohibits copying the disk and i’m not interested in spending time in mr. ashcroft’s federal prison system… good luck.

it may look like i’m trying to revive the don johnson two day stubble fad, but the truth is my electric razor has died and i lack the courage to go shopping during the holiday season.

natalie patiently watched me deliberate over an umbrella selection before asking ‘why do you even care since they are disposable anyway?’ well, yesterday i got to use my shiny, new, has all the features umbrella for the first time and after leaving it who knows where i can see natalie was right.

six years i’ve been with natalie, six years we’ve traveled to celebrate the holidays with her family, six years i have returned home with a cold.
