i imagine my nerd rating is pretty high in contrast to the population at large but luckily my friends keep me pretty well insulated from that fact.

clownley finally established a web presence and within a week posted the superhero quiz. i would have shared my results too but supergirl was much higher in “which superhero are you” than i’m ready to admit. (i knew i should have answered that thong question less honestly).

and at the mention of tracking my capital one credit card applications, the captain unleashed some smack and now we’re squaring off in the 2006 unsolicited credit card challenge… before you start saying “how gay”, know that the loser will have to figure out how to craft all their credit card applications in to this for the winner.

a recent npr story about an expedition to the north pole really had me pining to be on the trip until one of the scientists answered the question “how do you keep your face warm?” with “you keep blowing your nose and wiping it on your face until it creates a hard shell of insulation”…

i found out today that the only thing thats changed in fm radio since i listened to it as a kid (twenty som years ago) is that beatle songs are played by cover bands instead of the actual beatles.

given the size and capacity of hard drives in comparison to the bulk of glossy magazines, as this generation combs through their parents estate i think they will consider their parents (ok, their fathers) to be much more lecherous than any prior.
