i measure affluence by not having to wait til i exhaust the last square of toilet paper before buying more.

my current workspace is a big open room with desks all along the outer walls and with the center of the floor open. the vacuous space makes it the natural place for our team to have its weekly meeting. even though i sit in this room, i have managed to miss the last two team meetings.

this week i managed to top that by sitting at my desk, rocking to itunes with sound dampening head phones for over ten minutes before noticing the whole team was in the room and the meeting was under way. you would have thought somebody would have tapped me on the shoulder…

i don’t normally care for media tech shows, but this week in tech or “twit” is particulary good. and i say that in spite of the fact i would have been spared more buffoonery from ted stevens had they not brought it to my attention.

say what you will about north korea, but when it comes to theater, we had fireworks and a shuttle launch on the fourth of july and were still upstaged.
