i’m not cranky, i’m just smart.

the fastest way to fill an answering machine is keep a rising three year old out of the house on his birthday.

i managed to tell three levels of management yesterday i have no career plan or goals. you won’t find that in the seven habits of highly effective people.

for reasons unknown to me, yesterday i saw a lot of activity on linkedin.com.

i’m still not entirely sure what i’m doing there but the twit guys referencing it as the “my space” for thirty pluses pretty much sums up how i feel every time i log in.

there is a large number of family birthdays that began yesterday and run through the middle of september which all seem to eclipse the fact the tomorrow is our anniversary.

so, even though we’re not likely to do anything to celebrate our anniversary, this at least proves i knew it was coming.

it really is a shame that books, school and other people’s personal histories are such a poor substitute for individual experience

its not just that we don’t like pets, we are also concerned that we wouldn’t take care of them properly.

so fish probably weren’t a good idea since they aren’t good at the reminding you to feed them thing.

a friend recently sent me a link to an os x widget with lots of good stats but really this is the kind of info i need.

i can tell my near three year old is playing his language skills card pretty close because he will go a long time without displaying any measurable advancement and then when he can no longer help himself or its to his advantage there will be an enormous lexical boom.
