our kids drink a lot of water during the night. if for some reason we forget to fill two sippy cups full of water before putting them to bed you can be sure someone is making a water in the middle of the night.

we have a bedtime tuck-in ritual that involves me giving everyone in the family a kiss goodnight. i always start with logan and she barks out who next in the family gets kissed and i bounce around kissing people as she calls names out.

the other night these two rituals collided when logan emulating the biggest frog in australia drew a great gulp from her sippy cup and as i leaned in to plant my good night kiss an entire mouth full of water was sprayed in to my face.

logan is lucky not to be on a slave ship headed to australia now…
