ethan turned four yesterday and judging from the calls he got it must be customary to sing happy birthday to kids over the phone.

our son may have only just turned four but he catches on pretty quick and by the second call he wasn’t very interested in the phone any more.

by the time my musically challenged parents called at the end of the day he actually took the phone and started beating it against his head crying “i can’t hear, the phone just hit me in the head!”
