social media network site plaxo sent me a friendly reminder yesterday that i have friends who are waiting to connect with me.

i have ignored similar invitations from the other popular social media sites and recently had a dozen plus “friends” of mine blow me off after i invited them to a fantasy football league started by my mate in new zealand.

so now, i’m not only failing at maintaining my real life relationships. i’m also a loser online. and to make matters worse i’m 11 to 1 in a fantasy football league representing the u.s. against new zealand.

i’d never live down the shame of losing in that league… i may have to give up this blog to make sure i have my starting line up right…
