when the computer doesn’t do what my four year old daughter expects it to do, she responds by raising the mouse from the pad, banging it down and then clicks rapidly at anything and everything.

given that her mother does the exact same thing, i no longer believe this behavior has anything to do with understanding computers, its purely instinct.
