this weekend while cleaning up the basement we came across a box of photos from my first marriage. this led to the following observations/conversations:

that the funny looking guy in the pictures could convince anyone to marry him is quite remarkable.

natalie dated a guy who found out his father was married to someone before his mother by finding a similar box in their house. apparently, that was not the right way to let the kids know…

my parents in the pictures were just two years older than natalie and i are now. we can’t see ourselves now in them then – so we are obviously age delusional.

logan said of my first wife “she has mom’s smile”. that would be the singular feature common between the two.
