happy new year 2010.12.17

enjoy your winter holiday and i’ll be back after the first of the year.

consistent with the last few days, i’ll leave you with a video. arguably something good in cleveland or more realistically, the reason we left…

which way did he go? 2010.12.10

what ever happened to this guy?

and in other examples of inspired leadership, the troglodytes below voted against national security and in favor of bigotry blocking the national defense authorization act which included a repeal of don’t ask don’t tell:

2010 everyman 2010.12.09

the winners of the 2010 everyman photo contest have been announced.

some things never change, while others… 2010.12.08

its been six plus years since i’ve had to use a pc at work. in those six years it didn’t get one lick better…

my windows desktop at 9pm this evening…

conversely, i kicked up a parallels virtual machine this afternoon, downloaded an iso from ubuntu and twenty minutes later had a sweet new linux distro up and running with all my favorite tools right there for my enjoyment. nearly no effort at all…

my ubuntu virtual machine at 9pm this evening…

sorry, it’s not my fault 2010.12.07

normally, i try not to shop from thanksgiving to the new year, so that my few purchases don’t get lumped in with all the other holiday consumer glut.

but tomorrow i’m off to get a pair of high heels for my daughter. seems the brightest future she has to look forward to is indebted servitude.

the douche bags in washington are seriously trying to extend the bush tax cuts at a cost of $900 billion that will be financed entirely by increasing the national debt.

they are called the “bush” tax cuts, that alone should tell you they are bad and doomed to failure…

first snow of the year 2010.12.06

ethan playing in an unexpected snow fall.

knowing in advance doesn’t soften the blow 2010.12.03

death and taxes and bad things happening to cleveland… all unavoidable…

now you can add “the return” to the existing list

the catch

the shot

the drive

the fumble

the move

and the decision

catharsis 2010.12.02
