on the way back to grindelwald we stopped at this cafe for early supper at the small resort town les mosses. the swiss are amazing linguists. there are four national langages (german, french, italian and romansch) and even a gas station attendant i encountered was equally content to speak to me in german, english or spanish depending upon my preference. so, while i would like to make snide remarks about the english proficiency in the french quarter of switzerland it doesn't seem quite right given my uniligualism.
