A few months ago I was talking with some neighbors and one asked "What do I do about mobile service when I leave the country?"

Before I could answer, two others said "Get T-Mobile"

I agree. We were amazed during our year abroad how our phones worked everywhere we went with no data roaming fees, with the single exception of Vietnam.

So, we were a bit surprised when the next worst place was Victoria BC. Even when we allegedly had signal when couldn't get things to come in and you didn't have to travel far before you were out of range entirely. Maybe Victoria was the one place we needed Verizon ;-)
