We drove three hours from Yangshuo to the Longji Rice Terraces.

Our first stop was at a traditional bridge at a village by the river.

The bridge features elaborate woodwork and plenty of room to sit along the sides as folks in the past would gather here to enjoy the cool breeze that followed the river downstream.
