In spite of the great Temples and Halls in the Temple of Heaven our favorite aspect of the place was the surrounding Park and everyone who was gathered there.

Natalie is convinced China is the place to be for the elderly. We saw tons of older folks walking in the Park with their grandchildren; playing card and board games with each other; exercising (as you can see in front of us); singing in groups (which you can't see just behind us); and dancing.

No park we visited in the entire world was as vibrant and alive as the one surrounding the Temple of Heaven.
