Our first day in Ljubljana we walked up the hill to the Ljubljana Grad (Castle).

From this point, our neighborhood is slightly behind and to the left of the prominent Church Spire the middle of the photo.

We walked up this hill nearly every day of our stay in Ljubljana. A steep climb, a playground for the kids half way up, a variety of trails, great views and a castle at the top. It was always something to look forward to.
