In our experience traveling, a common theme has been people not taking advantage or visiting the attractions near by where they live.

I can't say this is surprising as we make a point to visit all the attractions in the places we visit, but have done very little exploring in our own back yard.

I started this gallery to remind myself that the place I live is an attraction and I should do a better job taking it all in.
