Our first stop on a speedboat tour of Phang Nga Bay.

The boat in the picture is not our speedboat, it is a Thai Long-tail boat which is much more picturesque than a speedboat.

But the clear and obvious advantage of a speedboat as our captain answered immediately when I asked him which he preferred, is the "speed" aspect of the speedboat.
