After Marble Mountain we planned to go hiking on Monkey Mountain but our driver who was supposed to know where the trails were 1) didn't speak English and 2) had no idea where any trails were.

After a few calls back to the office he acted like he knew what we wanted and took us to an abandoned road and pointed in to the bush. We walked about 100 meters down a lightly used path before we were decided we were more likely to find a land mine than a proper trail so we decided to simply the "Lady Buddha".

He was still confused about what we wanted and took us to one more false trail. On that path we were joking about how we would meet our demise when we came upon some rough shelters and heard a lot of dogs barking.

That was the end of our "exploring" Monkey Mountain.
