After descending 600 feet down rugged stone steps, the view of Thac Do Quyen.

When it came time to climb back up, our ever hand-wringing guide gave us warnings on how to breathe and pace ourselves as well as how to best step up the hill so as to not hurt our knees (by criss-crossing back and forth across the steps as opposed to going straight up).

This wasn't our first rodeo as they say and Ethan is a Feldt boy full of puberty so after the lecture was done, he immediately ran straight up the steps and all the way to the top.

The rest of us followed close behind, taking no breaks on the return.

When the guide arrived at the top, behind us all, you could tell he wasn't ready for a Feldt family death climb and maybe started to believe our claim that we were experienced hikers...
