The standard two day trip in Ha Long Bay really isn't long enough because it really amounts to 24 hours in the Bay with two quick stops.

Since we booked a three day trip our second full day in the Bay included a paddle boat ride in a cave and harbor that was home to tons of monkeys (which you don't always get to see but we did); a cultured pearl farm; and a stop in the "floating village" of Cua Van.

And yes, this guy is paddling that boat with his feet more effectively than I think I would have with my hands.
